Day 1 Itinerary

Arrive and make your way independently to the Clayton Hotel City of London. (Arrival Transfers not included).

Your My Ireland Tour Representative will be in the hotel lobby area during the morning and afternoon to answer any questions you may have, offer advice on what to do and see during your time in London, as well as let you know the details of the welcome drink this evening.

Most trans-Atlantic flights arrive in the early morning, and your room may not be ready for you. In this case, leave your luggage with the concierge and discuss with your My Ireland Tour Representative some suggestions for lunch and for you to begin exploring London on your own.

Overnight, and enjoy a welcome drink, at Clayton Hotel City of London. Situated in the bustling centre of the city, Clayton Hotel City of London serves as the perfect starting point to explore the bustling British capital.

Dinner is not included tonight, so take the opportunity to explore one of the world's most vibrant and celebrated culinary capitals. Nowhere in the world will you find a more diverse range of global cuisines than in London, with everything from street food to Michelin-starred restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel.

Of course, London is also famous for its spectacular city skyline. If you are celebrating a special occasion and looking to treat yourselves, then you might consider taking in the views from a restaurant atop one of the city's iconic skycrapers in the famous London City (Square Mile) and London Bridge areas. The below are just three suggestions in the Salesforce Tower, "The Walkie-Talkie" and "The Shard" skyscrapers respectively.

Day 2 Itinerary

Welcome to your first full day in London, a vibrant metropolis where centuries of royal history seamlessly blend with cutting-edge modern culture. Today is your chance to soak in the absolute magic of this iconic capital. Whether you are hoping to witness the famous Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, immerse yourself in spectacular world-renowned museums, stand at the historic focal point of global politics in Westminster, or simply admire the stunning modern skyline as it rises above ancient streets, London offers extraordinary experiences around every corner.

After breakfast, your My Ireland Tour Representative will meet you in the lobby of the Clayton Hotel City of London to kick-start your day. Together, you will take a scenic 15-minute stroll straight to the legendary Tower of London. Dive into centuries of royal history, marvel at the Crown Jewels, and meet the famous Beefeater guards as you explore this historic fortress at your leisure.

Once you've uncovered the secrets of the Tower, the afternoon is yours to enjoy the city as you please. We have included a Big Bus London hop-on, hop-off tour pass, and conveniently, your closest hop-on stop is right there at the Tower. This is the ideal way to effortlessly navigate this historic capital city. Hop on and off across 60+ legendary landmarks, including Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and Trafalgar Square.

Day 3 Itinerary

After breakfast, meet your Irish Tour Guide (who is also your Tour Driver) and set off towards Cardiff.

Visit Stonehenge. Scholars and archaeologists have been amazed by the mysteries surrounding Stonehenge for centuries. Built during the Neolithic Period over an estimated span of 1,500 years, it is made up of approximately 100 colossal upright stones arranged in a circular pattern.

Visit The Roman Baths. Located in Somerset, England, the Roman Baths are an ancient and well-preserved site that gives us a glimpse into the lives of the Romans who lived there between 60 and 70 AD. See the treasure trove of artefacts that were uncovered at the site, such as Roman jewellery, coins, and tools.

Enjoy some free time in Bath City. Venture to the heart of the historic city and take in the vibrant atmosphere and stunning Georgian buildings. Or, take time to unwind in the tranquillity of Henrietta Park or the Sydney Gardens, along the majestic River Avon.

Day 4 Itinerary

After breakfast this morning, enjoy a journey through the beautiful Cotswolds, a region of rolling hills, stone villages and timeless countryside charm. En route, you'll stop to visit some of England's most iconic sights.

Visit Blenheim Palace & Gardens, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Set across 2,000 acres of parkland and landscaped gardens, this magnificent Baroque palace is one of England's greatest hidden treasures.

Indulge in the quintessentially English and delicious experience of the Classic Afternoon Tea at Broadway Hotel. Delight in the freshly baked homemade scones, accompanied by Cornish clotted cream and strawberry jam. Savour the assortment of finger sandwiches, and sweet treats from the pastry kitchen with a choice of tea or coffee.

Day 5 Itinerary

After breakfast this morning, visit Cardiff Castle. A guided tour takes you through centuries of history, from ancient Roman ruins to hidden wartime tunnels. You'll also get to explore the lavish Victorian Gothic interiors that reveal the fascinating story of Cardiff's past.

Set sail with Irish Ferries on their Pembroke to Rosslare route. Relax onboard a modern ferry as you sail across the Irish Sea, enjoying comfortable lounges, food and drink options, and scenic coastal views along the way. On arrival at Rosslare Europort, make the short journey to the Ferrycarrig Hotel.

Tonight you will overnight and dine at Ferrycarrig Hotel, a four-star riverside hotel overlooking the Slaney Estuary. With elegant rooms, an award‑winning restaurant and extensive leisure facilities, it's a perfect base for relaxing in County Wexford.

Day 6 Itinerary

This morning after breakfast, depart for Cork City. Founded on the banks of the River Lee. The rebel city is home to Murphy's Original Irish Stout, and is considered by many Corkonians to be the real capital of Ireland!

Visit Waterford Crystal. This world-renowned crystal factory is located in the Viking-founded city of Waterford—where extensive glass manufacturing was established in 1783. Learn the art of glassblowing from the professional craftsmen and take time to visit the store which is home to the largest selection of Waterford Crystal in the world.

Continue along the scenic south coast of Waterford to County Cork, and visit the Midleton Distillery Experience. You will experience a fully guided tour. Here you will find the world's largest pot still, with a capacity of over 30,000 gallons.

Travel into Cork City, where you will dine and overnight in Maldron Hotel South Mall. This hotel is located in the city centre, giving you a great opportunity to explore the magic of its neighboring pubs. A few of the pubs that always rank highly, amongst both Cork locals and visitors alike, include Mutton Lane, Sin é and The Oval.

Day 7 Itinerary

This morning, after breakfast, journey west from Cork into the "Kingdom of Kerry" to tour some of the finest scenery on the Ring of Kerry and explore the beautiful and vibrant towns of Kenmare and Killarney Town.

Journey west to the "county bounds" under the wild Derrynasaggart Mountains, sometimes referred to as the Cork/Kerry Mountains and made famous in the ballad — "Whiskey in the Jar" — to the beautiful town of Kenmare. Here, you will have time to stroll and explore the three main streets that form a triangle in the center of the town. This design is a legacy of the Marquess of Lansdowne, who directed the town's layout when it was established as one of Ireland's first planned towns.

Continue on via Molls Gap, Ladies View, Killarney National Park, and along the Lakes of Killarney to Killarney Town.

Here you will have some free time in the world-famous Killarney Town, which has been welcoming visitors since Queen Victoria visited in 1861.

Return to Cork City.

Visit Clancy's Cork for a delicious three-course meal at one of Cork City's most beloved restaurants. Set in a beautifully restored heritage building, Clancy's serves up contemporary Irish cuisine in a lively and welcoming setting.

Tonight you will overnight at Maldron Hotel South Mall.

Day 8 Itinerary

This morning after breakfast, you will travel to the village of Blarney to visit Blarney Castle. Built on this site in 1446 by Dermot McCarthy. You will have the chance to kiss the legendary Blarney Stone. You will also have an opportunity to shop at Blarney Woollen Mills, boasting a huge selection of Irish arts, crafts and produce.

You will journey north to Dublin City. Cross the River Blackwater and enjoy the breath-taking views of the Golden Vale, the name given to some of Ireland's finest rolling pastureland, and the Galtee Mountains on the Tipperary/Limerick border.

Visit The Rock of Cashel. Rising dramatically from the grassy plains of county Tipperary. This was the seat of kings and medieval bishops for 900 years and flourished until the early 17th century. Brian Ború was crowned King of Munster here in 977, before becoming High King of Ireland in 1002.

Travel on via "The Curragh" a flat open plain of common land, the home of the Irish Defence Forces and world-renowned for Irish horse racing, breeding, and training.

Day 9 Itinerary

After breakfast, your exploration through Dublin City will begin at Christ Church Cathedral. Founded by the Viking King Sitric almost 1000 years ago in 1034. The cathedral crypt is one of the largest in the UK and Ireland, dating back to the 12th Century. Here, in the crypt, you can see the mummified remains of the Cat and the Rat which were found in the cathedral organ, and a rare 14th century copy of the Magna Carta.

From here you will travel to EPIC: The Irish Emigration Museum. Voted, recently, as "Europe's Leading Tourist Attraction", this museum tour tells the story behind the millions of people who fled, or were forced from, Ireland over the past three centuries. Located in Dublin's Docklands.

Visit Guinness Storehouse. With an address at the world-famous St. James's Gate. Here you will tour the world-renowned brewery and enjoy a perfect complimentary pint of Guinness in the Gravity Bar — located at the top of a glass tower that commands spectacular views of Dublin City.

Your farewell dinner and evening entertainment will take the form of a a visit to Taylors Three Rock. Take in an evening of traditional Irish song, music, laughter, and dance while also indulging in a wide variety of mouthwatering Irish dishes. The audience is treated to breath-taking performances by their resident band and traditional Irish dancers, who never fail to entertain.

Today marks the end of the this tour.

After a final great Irish breakfast this morning, there will be 3 group airport transfers between 0500 and 1100 to get you to Dublin Airport for your return flight home. The confirmed transfer times will be advised 10 days prior to the tour start date. Turas sàbhailte dhuibh (safe journey).
